This is a very simple stop that is
used to repeatable position the outboard miter fence clamp in the 90 degree position. When installing the fence there is a little bit of free play in the end until the clamp locks it down. By using this stop I can very easily ensure the clamp is in the true 90 degree position when the fence is being clamped. The stop is simply a short dowel with a jam screw. |
| The 1080- model of the MFT weighs in at 75 pounds. This is a bit more than I care to lug around very far. It occurred to me after the second time I moved the MFT that it would be very handy to have some sort of wheel for the MFT. This is what I came up with after about 15 minutes worth of work. While it isn't as pretty as the rest of the MFT, it does work. |  |
